At the Meadows, we are committed to impacting the community we live in.
This year we held a Community Fund Raising Gala to raise funds for EMS the local Emergency Medical Service Emergency Medical Service
We managed to raise $6,500.00 to help fund this wonderful organisation that, like us is in the business of saving lives.
We even strapped our own Pastor Victor into a crashed vehicle and had the fire brigade cut him out...good on you Victor!

The Meadows church had a desire to see Christian radio available on the Kapiti Coast. As Life FM drew close to the necessary funds to broadcast on the Kapiti Coast we took up an offering during one of our services & to our amazement God's wonderful people gave $16,000 which allowed Life FM to go to air.

Unexpected events can occur at any time during our life that can cause hardship. Whether that be through sickness, redundancies or loss of income many of us have experienced such events in our life. To help those in such situations we offer a food bank service. If you would like to pick up a food parcel please call into the church or phone us on (04) 297-2208.
When we heard that the Wellington Free Ambulance (New Zealand's only free ambulance service), were appealing to the community for help with their station maintenance, we decided to come to the rescue.
Coined 'Rescue 111', the church practically demonstrated it's potential outside its own four walls by undertaking our own version of Extreme Makeover. Over two weekends, approximately 200 church volunteers gave the station a new lease of life. It was our way of saying thank you to those who work tirelessly in our community helping and saving lives of those who are injured and ill.
