Peter & Margot Handisides

Peter and Margot came to live in Waikanae late in 2006, and became part of the Meadows church at that time. They had been part of the Lower Hutt AOG for 22 years, and Elders there for 17 years. Both of them completed bible school and Peter was ordained an AOG Pastor in 1997. They were house group leaders for some 20 years, as well as being involved in prison ministry at Rimutaka prison for 3 years, and inaugural leaders of Drug ARM Wellington for 6 years.

Margot is a trained primary school teacher, and also was personal assistant to the CFO of NZ Post in her years before retiring from the workforce. Peter was a chartered accountant and Finance Director of Barnardos NZ for 10 years. They have a married daughter, who has three children, and a son, David.

Peter serves both as a Trustee and Elder within the Meadows Church.
